I looked down at the blank piece of paper in front of me and took a deep breath. I knew exactly what I had to do, but the daunting task of starting seemed overwhelming.
"Just do what you need, do enough," I whispered to myself, remembering the words of my mother. It was her go-to phrase whenever I felt overwhelmed with a task. And for some reason, it always seemed to work.
So, I picked up my pen and started to write. The words came slowly at first, but then they started to flow freely. Before I knew it, the paper was covered with words and phrases, each one a reflection of my thoughts and emotions.
I didn't worry about editing or revising, I just wrote until I felt like I had done enough. And as I sat back, looking at my creation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.
"Just do what you need, do enough," I repeated to myself once again. It was a mantra that had gotten me through some tough times, and I knew it would continue to serve me well in the future.
As I stood up from my desk, ready to face the rest of the day, I took one last look at my work. It may not have been perfect, but it was mine, and that was enough.
